they should add in Two Face in this time round. its the reason why Batman had to fly off in such a hurry. Adding Two Face would be a good move, but it shouldn't kick off with Batman confronting him immediatly after the last game, since it seems the sequel takes place some time later. And they should obviously add Two Face because it's the second game. A new Scarecrow confrontation could be easily done by having Bats suffer halluncinations of Scarecrow looking like some horrific, muscle-bound monster (due to fear gas or something). The fight could be a difficult one under the excuse that Batman's having difficulty fighting John "made of toothpicks" Crane because of the effects of the gas. Admittedly that doesn't sound as mind-screwy as the Scarecrow encounters of the first game, but I still think it's a neat idea. Perhaps they could throw in stuff like the terrain mutating to attack you, I dunno. Penguin would be a decent boss fight if they took cues from The Batman and have him able to pull off crazy backflips and other kung-fu crap. Plus he's got a machine gun umbrella that allows him to fly. Also: Mid-air Man-Bat boss battle plz.

Hmm, from the masses of fake names Rocksteady registered to keep it's name secret, I recall "Arkham City" was one of them.
I had been hoping for "Siege of Gotham" myself from their shortlist.

Screeny time? Screeny time! There's a bunch more up at Kotaku. I've left out the three revealed villains on the off-chance that people don't want to be spoiled, as it were, so early. They're Catwoman, Two-Face and a redesigned (and less ridiculous-looking) Harley. Ah, dammit, I just checked the preview and these are coming out full-size. I'll leave 'em in on the grounds that they don't break the screen too much.

Two Face looks like he was hit by acid that was on fire, looks properly [censored]ed up. Nice. Harley and Catwoman looks nice. But why are they showing their faces all willy nilly? JOYGASM. Bout time we saw some more stuff. Batman looks angry rah.

It's all fantastic looking, but the game's over a year away. This makes me sadder today than I was yesterday.

I find all three of them quite funny, that's why I chose them to put here.
If you look carefully at the first one, Bats appears to be smirking a bit.

Two-Face's mutilated side looks like something made by Nick Park. Come on, look at that mouth! That's way too wide!

Trail or!
I totes recognise Strange's voice but IMDB doesn't have the actor listed yet. Anyone?
EDIT: Haha oops it didn't occur to me that nabbing it from a German source would result in German subtitles all up in your grill. Chang'd.

I know he's Bruce Wayne too. Not much to say, no real gameplay footage. But hot dog, graphics are getting scary. D: My brother actually thought it was live-action!

Release dates:North America: 18th October Australia: 19th October "Europe and other global territories": 21st October It's a (largely) British-made game for heaven's sake! Grump. (Also I thought Rocksteady were based in Leicester and apparently they're based in London? Hmm.)

Made by Rocksteady, sure, but Eidos is now owned by Square-Enix and that pretty much puts us at the bottom of the pecking order.
Still, it's only a few days.

Really? Sounds the same to me...
*checks*
Yeah, IMDB sez it's still Arleen Sorkin.
Anyway, <3. Looks great. I like the look of being able to glide, then freefall, then glide again. Also, that sounded an awful lot like John DiMaggio doing Two-Face...

Posting this here because it's basically the Batman thread. Michael Gough, the actor who played Alfred in all four Burton/Schumacher Batman movies, has passed away.

People are flipping their [censored] in the Joystiq comments there. Which is ridiclous. Because someone else is voicing a secondary character in the game, the game is now ruined and is awful? Wha?
I think the previous actress did a good job, sure, but I don't really care that someone else is voicing some character in a game. If it doesn't ruin my ears, the job is done well enough for it to have served its purpose.
