From what I read he isn't planning on moving into a new 'show' for a while, he's going to be doing more web-based stuff. If that means more Dr. Horrible I certainly don't mind. I agree; Ballard's death was superbly handled, and to be honest, so was Topher's and was far more gut wrenching (to me at least).

I enjoyed it, a fitting end to a great show. I agree with WF though, I think that there would have been enough material to make another series out of the post-apocalyptic world, since there were a few bits which were kind of skimmed over, but yeah, at least we were given a good ending rather than a non-ending like Firefly (til Serenity came out anyway).

So I've finally caught up after seeing the last episodes last night. Brilliant end to the series, although Sci-Fi's decision to run the last three episodes back-to-back broke my brain slightly what with GIGANTIC REVELATIONS AND DRAMATIC BITS every five minutes.
One question: what happened to Meredith? After the whole Senator Perrin thing she's shipped off to Bennett, then in the third-to-last episode Ballard rescues her seemingly in doll-form and reinstates the Mellie personality. Did her actual, original self just end up gathering dust on a shelf? Or actually, it wouldn't surprise me if it was deleted completely...
