The riffs and the lyrics, THE RIFFS AND THE LYRICS, shut up, Bryce. Not paid attention to the lyrics, but the riffs are the same, too!

Getting back into listening to the amazing (if unfortunately titled) Art For Spastics, a show full of DIY no-fi joy that's on a radio station somewhere in California but is put online at artforspastics.blogspot.com/Makes me want to PayPal lots of things.

I thought it was mediocre, but it could grow on me. Have you heard the song he did on Tony Iommi's first solo album?

You probably listen to stuff I don't know about, since I don't know much before 1970. XD

Apart from Elton John I havent heard of most things you people are listing. :/ Elton who? Nah, I'm kidding, but I'm not the only one. However I think most people are listing their newest musical discoveries, and generally bands that are yet to make it big or famous. I have nowt to add here

Elton John in Perth this June/July He played the SECC last time he was here! Unless you mean Perth, Australia! XD Played at Easter Road the time before that. And Pittodrie in Aberdeen the time before that. That's why I respect him as an artist. He gets £20million a year to play the Red Rooms in Las Vegas but still enjoys doing the small gigs.

I have no idea what genres I listen to; the myriad sub-genres of rock and metal are utterly lost on me. But then again, I don't listen to music that often, anyway.

Wait Digital Love as in the Daft Punk song?
omgomgomgomg YES IT IS.
It's good, if a little too much reverb. Way too much reverb. I prefer the original, tbh.

The reverb definitely makes it feel like a Jesus and Mary Chain song. It sounds great in a club! See also: The Magnetic Fields' latest album.

So, I was helping clean out my grannys house, when I stumbled upon an old record collection. Bout twenty+ records.
Had a quick glance, and grabbed a few. Spent the evening listening to them.
Here's the list.
Beatles: Revolver. Beatles: Yellow Submarine. The Grateful Dead: AOXOMOXOA. Four Seasons: I don't know the name. Beach Boys: See 4 Seasons. Beach Boys: Christmas Album. (awesome) A compilation of Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry.
Oh, and Pink Floyd: DARK SIDE OF THE MOON!

Well, yeah, Beach Boys are pretty crappy. I grabbed the compilation with Fats and the rest in the hope of getting My Ding-a-ling (no such luck), but the Dead and Floyd are awesome.
