Aw, Just a Day? Now that was cheerful! XD
Their gigs are usually pretty good, I have to say. Also, Jimmy Eat World were fantastic!! I wuvs 'em! ^__^
Also, my bf's sisters former band, The Corrections are awesome but for some baffling reason, not doing very well at all. I got a little wasted at their Birmingham gig and started chatting to a fellow fan... I say "chatted", probably slurred! I think I scared him! XD

Not for the faint-hearted. I saw Sunn O))) live and some of the notes they hit were so low and powerful that I couldn't breathe for a little while. seco)))ned. Seeing them last December when they did 'Altar' was amazing and ever so loudddddd. The only gig that's matched the intensity was Whitehouse a few weeks ago, and that's because they create mind-splitting noise and very, very NSFW lyrics that hurt after a few minutes. Good thing they played for seventy.

Speaking of things that hurt your ears, I'm listening to Headcleaner by Einsturzende Neubauten. ;D

Consumer Electronics, a Whitehouse sideproject, is another example (at least I think) of noise that I find relaxing while everyone around thinks I'm a bit of a nutcase.

People think I'm a nutcase how I can go from Sunn O))) or Anaal Nathrakh to the mellowest stuff like Camel or Boards of Canada. I have a bipolar taste in music.

Aye, it's fun being able to fawn over noise and improv stuff and then swooning over The Futureheads' new singles or hipster [censored]!

I'm not listening to much right now. Probably due to the sound mysteriously going missing on my PC. Haven't an effing clue how to get it back.

Then get something else, Adium for example College computers. Also, listen to Three Doors Down (except Citizen Soldier, unless you're a right-wing flag lover). Right where I belong is awesome.

Nathan Barley's fantastic and depressingly real in some respects.

I lasted about twenty minutes of the first episode of Nathan Barley. It was quite funny, but it was the exact same joke over and over again.
This DIOYY? tune Stu posted's pretty good. I suspect it'll be stuck in my head the rest of the night.
As for me, I am mainly listening to Canadian indie at the moment. Specifically Stars and Kevin Drew. Over and over again.

I'm being a mardy arse and listening to lots of Arab Strap. That and I listened to Bonnie "Prince" Billy's 'I See A Darkness' which emotionally [censored]ted me when I listened to it a few months ago. Got to love Will Oldham: he can make amazing music and then appear as a hick pastor in Wonder Showzen...

I like Nathan Barley. I know it's set in London, but a lot of those types exist in Manchester too.

Nathan Barley's fantastic and depressingly real in some respects. No, it's awful and not in the least bit real. But hell, it's all a matter of opinion and in my opinion it's for [censored]s. Oh, Chris Morris, how you have fallen.
