Grateful Dead are booooring. So are Pink Floyd; I never got the hype about them.

Supes just hates slow and/or light music. [/lie]
Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd are awesome and everything, but they're no Eagles. <3

I nearly got punched at uni a few weeks ago as I disliked this guy's favourite bands.
The Beatles Pink Floyd Nirvana
I mean they're ok, but I rarely hear anything by them and think "Awesome."
I don't particularly like the Eagles either.

I'm liking the Pigeon Detectives lately. I thought they were just another generic 'accent singing' band but the songs are actually quite good.

Pink Floyd: ridiculously overhyped. Still good, though. The Beatles: When they're good, great. If not, [censored]e. Nirvana suck.
No. They suck. No arguments.

I respect him as a songwriter above all else. THE MAN IS A LYRICAL GENIUS He usually has Bernie Taupin write his lyrics, and I agree, the lyrics are immense. It's a fantastic partnership they have. Taupin's lyrics and Elton writing the music. Also been listening to No Doubt recently. Can't stop listening to "Don't Speak". Stefani has a great voice, which she wasted going solo and pairing up with Akon etc.

Nirvana suck. They had one good song. Like Westlife.
Which means they're as good as Westlife.

"Bleach" is a good album. Nevermind is a good pop-grunge album. XD Doesn't mean I like it, though.

"I have only heard Smells Like Teen Spirit". This is a pathetic effort, mate, because noone in their right mind would ever say Nirvana suck, regardless of personal taste. Listen to Unplugged or In Utero.

Okay, sorry, was in a bad mood when I typed that.
Haven't heard Unplugged.
In hindsight, Heart Shaped Box is good. Not great, but not terrible. All apologies, fair enough. Not my personal favourite song ever, but good enough.
Smells like... is terrible. Sorry, but it is.
Come as you are, same deal as Heart shaped box. And Something in the Way.

Nirvana are okay, but over-rated. Props for their version of "The Man Who Sold the World", which widdles all over the original.

Sunn O))) Guys who wear robes and play extremely detuned and distorted guitars at a ridiculously slow pace... or "drone" as the genre implies. Not for the faint-hearted. I saw Sunn O))) live and some of the notes they hit were so low and powerful that I couldn't breathe for a little while. People either love it or hate it. Those who love it either find it relaxing or empowering. Most people think it's godawful noise, and I can see/hear why. Either way, damn it looks so cool.

Nirvana are ridiculously overrated. We all know its cos hes dead too. They were pretty huge while Cobain was still alive but yeah, the swarms of teenagers wearing Nirvana hoodies (my sis was one!) are blatantly because he is an icon, and he's an icon because he's dead! XD Smells Like Teen Spirit makes me cringe. Anyways, yayness for meee! I'm going to see Feeder in May. I really wish they'd just cheer the [censored] up! XD

I still rock out to Teen Spirit. :[ It's a good song but its popularity killed it for most people. By "most" I mean people who matter.
