I was watching an old episode of Doctor Who on BBC4 this evening and thinking pretty much that. "Am I impatient to the point of ignorance, or is this ridiculously slow and drawn out?" Maybe. Which one were you watching?

The one that was on last night. The one they had tonight was rather better.

I love good television, I love Doctor Who (both classic and new) but I agree: some episodes are just too slow.

That would be the pacing.

However, I dunno why you think it's so abstract, it's not a particularly zany concept, to me. Love potions aren't exactly new, and this was just taking that concept and putting STC/O characters in there. Hmmm... perhaps I haven't read enough stories involving love potions?! Or had much experience in the amourous advances of an army of love-drugged, besotted, zombiefied men? You're right though, maybe I was being a little harsh... I really like the strip as I said, and if you put it the context of other stories it doesn't maybe seem as weird as some strips...

Amy was universe hoping with Tekno, and you find a love potion strange?

8, 78, 156, 312, 390, 468, 546, 624, 702 Is that some sort of substitution code? Hang on... C, E, D, R, I, C, F, U, C... and the trail goes cold there.

There was a fish in a Lew Stringer Tails. A fish in a wetsuit with a fishing-bowl helmet full of water. That was a pretty weird moment. And Charmy Bee's solutions for defeating the Fundamental Four and the Crimson Cobra. Don't mess with Charmy. I was watching an old episode of Doctor Who on BBC4 this evening and thinking pretty much that. "Am I impatient to the point of ignorance, or is this ridiculously slow and drawn out?" Depending on the story, it can be both. But desperate writers trying to fill up too many episodes gave us the eerie out-of-reality opener for The Mind Robber, the virus sweeping Europe in The Silurians, and the alternate universe in Inferno (the bit that makes it famous) so sometimes desperation helps.

Sonic the Human... though I side with Shanazar being just weird as well. As I recall, it's one of the things that sealed StC's fate.

Kintobor's brain is on a Power Ring and they use it to make him do all their computer work for free.
The really weird part is we don't find that weird

Kintobor genetically combining with a stack of rotten eggs remains pretty stand out.
(That arc remains my favorite in the history of StC though ;D)

I must admit I quite enjoyed Pirate STC, it was ridiculously manic but when read carefully, some amusing real world nods (to the bran deadness (not a word) of youth) etc etc. Personally I found the Decap Attack stories to be pretty dreadful and downright weird (the pumpkin verminator? what?) but even they to had their amusement.

Rouge turning out to work for the Drakons. What the heck? Are the Drakons the good guys all along? Is this Rouge not the real Rouge? Is Rouge merely mind-controlled? Could Rouge be playing the Drakons for a card? Is this the start of a trend of characters being more evil than their game selves?

Could Rouge be playing the Drakons for a card? Is this the start of a trend of characters being more evil than their game selves? Was the Drakon Empire ever "evil"? They had different standards, and a different culture, to Mobius. They had their own agenda, and sometimes they would do the wrong thing in order to achieve it. But they always existed in a kind of moral grey area. They let Sonic go free at the end of his trial, as he had "proved" his innocence according to their legal system. Their claim to the chaos emeralds had as much validity as Pachacamac's. And in STC Online, they actually saved Mobius. So, by extension, Rouge isn't "evil" if she's doing bad things to achieve noble ends. Doesn't mean she isn't a villain though…

Was the Drakon Empire ever "evil"? Well they do want to conquer Mobius by violent force, so yeah.

Since they first showed up on Mobius, with Pochacamac says they'll use the Chaos Emeralds to conquer the galaxy - Ko-Dorr says it again in #118, a few more times after that. It's a recurring theme, and Mobius would be part of the conquest. (And in STC-O they're having a proxy invasion of Mobius which is to end with Mobius as a Drakon principality and that's where Rouge is a Drakon agent)
