I'm also curious if any more of those other game characters will have any significant part in the story, or at least have a bit of dialogue? Doesn't seem likely, I know, but I can hope. I imagine (hope) Bowser or someone will probably say "sufferin' succotash" at one point, or similar, along with a bunch of brief, punny exchanges that give a crafty nod to circumstances in their respective games and/or fan communities. Being a little more realistic in terms of cameos, they'll probably just wheel out Charles Martinet for the umpteenth time.

Reminds me of the intellectual property miracle that allowed Who Framed Roger Rabbit to happen. Did that particular cosmic alignment happen again recently? Transit of Venus! I first heard about this film yonks ago and thought "hmm, that could either be brilliant or absolutely terrible". From the trailer, I'm edging towards the former. Might go and see it.

I didn't mind UP but I just didn't like it as much as, say, Shrek. There were a few bits here and there that I did like and some that I just couldn't be bothered with. I'm more of a comedy man myself. If you were after comedy, then you really watched the wrong film. That's like watching Titanic, or War Horse, and expecting thrilling laughs all the way through. Just...wrong. Take a look at this tumblr link, and really, honestly tell me you think it's a damn comedy. pettyartist.tumblr.com/post/24633653407/loveavpm-escuriio-bryarly-why-why-wouldObviously it had it's funny moments, it's still advertised as a kids film afterall.

Oh God, that scene Also, UP is an excellent movie, I normally make a point in watching it if I see it on anywhere.

Take a look at this trailer and tell me you didn't expect a comedy. That's the problem with so many trailers these days; they are utterly misleading to the point of being borderline false advertising. Pixar's movies in-particular usually have a lot more substance to them than the trailers let on.

I love how the Internetosphere is bouncing off the proverbial walls over these cameos. That trailer is probably the only scene in which these characters will appear! Muahaha!

I have the very depressing feeling that you're right. I'm seeing increasing examples of scenes used in a trailer that are nowhere in the actual film.

I did feel sorry for him in up and I did like these scenes I just didn't get into the film, maybe I would like it more if I was to watch it again. Edit: I still prefer to watch comedy, e.g. Blackadder over watching films with a fairly sad subject matter.

The point being - obviously - that Sonic being associated with a mediocre product like Wreck-it Ralph is hardly surprising given the character's majority of uninteresting media. Plus, you know, All-Stars Transformed crossover monies. It's a poor showing on both Sega and Disney's part, but you know, kids and retarded furries will probably love it. So the entire Sonic fanbase, then.

Because every single piece of publicity indicates as such.

Don't judge the movie by that then. For example, every bit of publicity for "Mirror Mirror" made me think the movie would be mediocre, and it turned out to be agreat, great movie.
