I was always intrigued by the film's premise, even before Robotnik was confirmed to appear. I actually think it looks pretty cool.

Wait, so Roger Rabbit with games? The rights must have been a nightmare.

Looks like Toy Story with video games.
To be honest, it's the most interesting animated movie concept to come from Disney themselves in practically decades. Probably would have been better with pastiches of video game characters instead of a license/advert-fest, but it looks like they aren't really the focus anyway.
If Pixar had done this in place of Toy Story, I couldn't really see anyone kicking up a fuss over it.

Watched the trailer and... I think it looks okay. Could be funny or might even be awesome. Most likely it will be too typical Disney and wind-up being boring.

"Point" ;D Edit: I didn't mind UP but I just didn't like it as much as, say, Shrek. There were a few bits here and there that I did like and some that I just couldn't be bothered with. I'm more of a comedy man myself.

'Up' was excellent. Didn't care much for either of the 'Cars' films though.
This, I dunno. Could be ok. Probably wont get round to watching it til it's on tv though.

Cars is made way more fun when you realise it's actually about a post-apocalyptic world in which we piled so much electronic crap into our cars that they literally became sentient and killed every human on the planet.
We also [censored]ed around with genetically modifying flies to be cars. 'Cos we're nuts like that.
Basically, it's the creepiest [censored]ing [censored] about a bunch of genocidal machines who treat everything like they're a Terminator Care Bear.

It's by the director of "Lisa's Substitute" and "Marge versus the Monorail", so I'm interested in seeing what he comes up with. Hopefully it will be something more substantial than just a stream of fan-pleasing gaming references!

Did she just say HUGE HANDS?! Hmm.. OK... Not sure what to think about this. Seems like TRON and ReBoot smacked into one film.... except without Tony Jay.... *cries* Also, how much must they have forked out in order to show all of those characters in the group counselling scene?! Can you imagine if hahaha can you imagine if the cake from Portal made an appearance? Hahahahaha! Well, it looks like the main character is going to go to SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!I'm sorry...

Reminds me of the intellectual property miracle that allowed Who Framed Roger Rabbit to happen. Did that particular cosmic alignment happen again recently?
Well, Tangled was a decent film; not Pixar-standard, but certainly good. May see this out of curiosity.

That zombie with the axes in the trailer? Totally from House Of The Dead. That cameo alone is immeasurably better than either of the HOTD films. ;D Also why is Zangief in that group? He's not actually a villain.

Cars wasn't amazing but every other Pixar film has been. Obvious comments aside, the script for this seems a bit dire. Trailer did nothing of note besides "oh look actual videogame villains". Animation was gorgeous though.

Also why is Zangief in that group? He's not actually a villain. They saw the cheesy, live-action Street Fighter movie and nothing else. Though even in that he technically wasn't a villain.

I'm also curious if any more of those other game characters will have any significant part in the story, or at least have a bit of dialogue? Doesn't seem likely, I know, but I can hope.
