I cant be bothered reading the thread to see if anyone else has mentioned this, but does anyone else get the feeling these physics will cause mass vomiting?

They're no worse than the Sonic 1 Special Stages.

Well that was Sonic Xtreme's unintended side effect... Quoteth the people who played it/watched videos of it. And then there were the guys who nearly died making it.

Yikes, what? O.o As a consequence of working too hard or something? Or something coincidental?

Yikes, what? O.o As a consequence of working too hard or something? Or something coincidental? Here's a quote from an article on X-Treme, from the words of game producer Mike Wallis. “[Chris] Coffin actually left his apartment, cancelling its lease, moved all his belongings into the office, and worked day and night” Then the article says that he caught pneumonia. What it doesn't say is that a doctor assessed it and said that if he didn't stop working, he would likely die from it.

Man, I've been wondering about an alternate universe where Morrison worked on STC. I wish I lived in that universe.

I wonder how SLW will be adapted into STC:O?
Going by what has happened in other adaptations (Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Riders), the Deadly Six will be portrayed as more villainous than I. The game, and they will not be redeemed. At least one will have a connection to one of the comic's original rogues.

We're still a way off lost worlds We're only upto 06 vaguely And our adaption of shadow was a two parter Though I mean out own stories could be seen As accidental adaptations of sonic 4 and sonic generations. I'm looking forward to more info on lost worlds as I'm currently really worried about the look and feel if the game that said soni colours and sonic generations were both very solid games as was the day time part of unleashed so I have some I wouldn't quite say faith or trust... But we'll as homer would say 'less shame'

not a fan of the level schyzophrenia, would be nice if desert ruins 2 looked anything like desert ruins 3 and if both looked anything like the name desert ruins, but eh, let them experiment as they want

This is one of the worst games ever.
On one hand I want the game cause it looks fun and I want a fun Sonic game, on the other I refuse to spend 400 dollars on a game system just for this single 55 dollar game, it's purely insane to spend that amount of money.
It's graphics are, blend to be polite, yet the gameplay is close to what I've been crying for since colors, the option to go fast, faster or insanely fast is close to perfect, but the level layout makes me cross eyed and confused as heck.
It's still just Sonic alone gameplay which bores me after a while, Sonic is fun but not enough to keep me playing over and over again. On the other hand, his close friends, Tails, Amy and Knuckles will be part of the story which I have missed, but no word on how big a part they'll play there so I'm still not sure if its a good thing.
On the purely negative side for me, the wisps are back and I loathe the wisps.
On the purely positive side for me, boost is seemingly gone, yay, no more boost gameplay.

It really does look like what if Mario games and Sonic games made love to each other and this is the offspring. More so than Colours
Giant versions of normal badniks. That moment when Caterkiller just sped off like a green shell. Kinda.

You can't use "I don't own the console it's on" as a reason for calling it one of the worst games ever, come on.
I'm really digging it, honestly. The levels all look different yet fun, and while aesthetically it reminds me of Mario, it seems to have a bit of a Donkey Kong Country level design going on which is never bad.

Gotta agree with Shay here; I'm miffed it's Nintendo exclusive, I don't have a WiiU or a 3DS and in all honesty as I bought a new 360 last summer I'm not looking at purchasing a next gen console for a number of years, but this still does look a rather fun game, and I like all the little nods to older games such as the small animals, the return of the Spin Dash and Super Peel Out... I do find the names odd; they seem to have gone back to using Zone rather than Act, and I suspect that Des sert Ruins might either be a typo or a placeholder, otherwise that name makes no sense whatsoever!! The idea of another food based zone is a bit weird IMO, but we don't know the context of the game yet apart from ""Grrr! The Deadly Six are here!".

I was being sarcastic when I called it the worst game ever.
To be more precise, the game has a lot of the stuff I want in a Sonic Game, exploration, different modes of pace and color full worlds to explore, it's a game I'd get on launch day. But and this is a big turn off. It's on the Wii-U, a game system that is just as good as the PS3 and cost more then twice as much right now. And I really don't like the idea of going out to spend $420 on the gamesysten, then another $55 on the game, especially if the game doesn't turn out to be as good as I expect it to be.
Added to that is the sad fact that the Wii-U is nearly dead in my nation, a fact that is mind boggling cause its barely a year old, but already there is close to no support for it from the entertainment stores. The only store chain that has new games for it is Gamestop, and the nearest Gamestop lies 35 miles away from my home, and even their selection is frankly, thin as water.
Right now, I'm feeling like this game will simply pass my nation by, after all, why send a new game to a nation if the market just isn't there for it.
So it's the worst game in that it has nearly everything I want in a Sonic game, but its price tag is simply insane and there's too high a chance of it having to be important rather than obtained locally. And I know how the postal service treats packages here.

Unfortuently her name wasn't Boobers or Sexy the LampreySo going through what I like and what I dont like about what I am seeing. What I like: Sanic. Parkour stuff and how its a bit momentum based and you can use spin dash to extend it. Spin Dash. The Bizarre Xtreme/Galaxy/Sunshine hidden areas art and level design. That the background looks like the first moments of the Sonic CD opening. Sonic CD legs. 3DS graphics. What I dont like "Run" button Not boost or spin dash button. Run button. Still not really sold on Colour power ups. First level is literally Green Hill Zone. The badniks, the design. Not sure on the homing attack the way it seems to automatically kill 3 badniks - UNLESS its a "aftertouch" thing where you do the homing attack and then use the analogue stick to home Sonic onto them. Then its brilliant. The "Deadly Six" They just look odd. I dinnae like them.
