I severely doubt that was meant to be taken 100% seriously.
Anyway, calling NOM rubbish is like calling air kind of useful...

Kewl. HI-FIVE!...ahem... Hey check out the GoF game! I believe that's the Xbox version, but don't quote me. The dragon is checking out Harry's ass! Also, I might be going to see the film. Not sure if my friend will still want to though when she finds out how long it is lol, it's 2 and a half hours.

GoF out in cinemas tomorrow! I might try to watch it after college, seeing as the cinema in my home town is only a short walk from my house. But, meh, I'm not exactly a die-hard Potter fan bursting with anticipation to see it. I'll definately be seeing it on Saturday or Sunday though.

It's out already? Man that came quick.
If I can get hold of my friend and persuade her to go then I'll see it, if not I probably wont, most of my other friends aren't into it, except for one and he's going with someone I don't get along with.

I saw it this morning. It's the best Potter movie yet. It was in turn hilarious, exhilirating and emotional (Yes, madhair felt weepy near the end... sue me). I recommend it hugely.

I saw it today too. Admittedly I'd have liked more coverage of the Quidditch World Cup, but maybe in the DVD... Great stuff. A great deal darker than the last one.

I saw it last night too. As Madhair and Blizzard said, fantastic stuff. Fred asking Angelina to the ball through the Power Of Mime cracked me up completely. ;D The action sequences were fantastic, too, especially the dragon. And Brendan Gleeson was fantastic as Moody.

Just saw it today. Very good. I'd give 4/5.
I'd give it 4 because I felt it was slightly rushed. The scene at the very start went a bit too quickly. The dialogue went pretty fast.
Voldemort's 'ressurrection' was easily the best part of the film. Amazing. Completly nothing like how I imagined it. And I like all of his black robes just wrapped around his body.
Admittedly, Voldemort was slighty disappointing. Now, I wasn't expecting him to look just like how I imagined him, but he I thought he had a bit too much flesh around his face (I imagined it to be much more skeletal-like), but it's much better then his PS Apperence (which was far too human). Plus, I thought Ralph could have done better with the voice. Voldemort sounded a bit too normal. The way I saw it, I thought his voice was very horse, very cold. Chilling. Like his PS voice. But it's okay I guess. I find Voldemort to be saisfactory.
One more thing, the humor in there was quite good. Except when Alastor (well, Barty Crouch Jr really, but you what I mena) turns Draco into a bouncing ferret. That was hilarious. ;D
Overall, most scenes are pretty rushed. If I hadn't read the book, then I'd be quite confused. But it's good film regardless, I'll definately be seeing it again sometime.

I'm either seeing this tomorrow, or next weekend.
From what you've said, it should be quite good.

Saw it on Saturday. Absolutely fantastic, the best Potter yet! Mike Newell really knocked it outta the park. Incredible cast. Really didn't expect Trigger and Doctor Who to show up.

Great film. I see what Madhair meant about the sad part towards the end. And who didn't know Malfoy's father would be evil? Great film though, can't wait for the next one.

Watched the latest film a few weeks ago, loved the fast paced action, and comical expolits. As with most book to film conversions, a lotis again missed out, of which I was expecting pretty much anyway, they were after all gonna make the film into two halves to cope with it, but yea... I have 3 problems with the film: Hermoine/Ron Made it too obvious, she screeched like a bat in those dance scences, it was like more tensionious for us the viewers to watch than for the characters on screen to deal with! Dread to think what they'd do with the 6th film... 3rd TaskNO SPHINX!? I mean come on, we get the dragons, griffons, phoenixes, snakes etc. and then I don't see my sphinx?? What's up with that... VoldemortI don't know... he just didn't seem as scary and menacing as the books protray him to be. I imagined him more snakelike, and a monstrous face to boot. He looked too human and he acted rather out of character I think, seemed more like guiding Harry in things than destroying him, which if I was in my shoes I would get on with straight away! He dwiddled on and it seemed abit unnesscary. Don't get me wrong, the scene and the aftermath to follow was great, especially the resurrection. The bit in-between just lacked something for me. Other than that I DID enjoy it a whole lot, here's to the fifth film.

You must've been, your question sunk the topic. Just a quick note that the GOF DVD (OMG TMA) (that's "Too Many Abbreviations") ( ) is out on the 9th of March. I know that's definite for the US, whether it is for the UK too I don't know but I'd say probably.

Casting is underway for LunaIsn't she the freaky conspiracy theory girl, if so I have a pretty well defined mental picture, which I hope the producers will be sticking to... I'm psychically projecting it right now...

Shouldn't Radcliffe be playing the young James Potter? Because he's supposed took just like his dad except for the eyes... Then again. The thought to see Daniel acting like a big bully towards a teenage Snape frankly terrifies me, so I guess they'd be better with a different actor.

*digs up thread* Shouldn't Radcliffe be playing the young James Potter? Because he's supposed took just like his dad except for the eyes... Good point. Meh. Aaaanyway, I thought I'd re-introduce HIDEOUS SPOILERS into this thread since eight months is plenty of time to either read a book or have some dude yell the end at you whilst you were outside a bookshop. Sooooo..... snape kills aeris And to create a dash of discussion, I was flicking around MuggleNet when I came across an interesting theory regarding Horcruxes. Voldemort's soul's in 7 parts, right? And there are 7 books, right? It fits, right? Each Horcrux being introduced in each book... Book 1: Voldemort himself (the last bit of soul in his body) Book 2: Riddle's diary (confirmed) Book 3: Book 4: Nagini the snake (unconfirmed, theory of Dumbledore's) Book 5: the heavy unopenable locket found at Grimmauld Place (unconfirmed, popular rumour - the fake Horcrux at the end of HPB was a locket, which would fit if R.A.B. actually is Sirius' brother Regulus) Book 6: the ring Dumbledore destroyed Book 7: Whatcha think?

Well, we'd be pretty hard-pressed to find out what exactly is the third Horclump (I just saw this rather hilarious misspelling on another message board. Don't know HOW some could get an incorrect spelling on THAT scale) is, unless it's somehow Pettigrew. That'd be kinda amusing actually. Anyway, it's nice theory. Fits well mesa tinks. *Looks at the message Samface quoted* I don't know how on EARTH I managed to combine 'to' and 'look' into one. Dear God in heaven. Oh and... That is just absolutely brilliant. Words alone cannot describe.

unless it's somehow Pettigrew. That'd be kinda amusing actually. I actually really, really like that idea, even if it would mean killing him off (which I don't wanna happen). It'd be pretty entertaining if it was some stupidly obscure thing, like, I dunno, a knife that Neville was using to eat bacon in one scene. Well, it'd entertain me. A-c-t-u-a-l-l-y...Voldemort uses objects of special significance for Horclumps (as I shall now always call them), right? He was Head Boy (unless my memory's completely gone), right? Percy becomes Head Boy in book 3...and as such is given a little badge to denote this... Dun-dun- duuuuuuun!Erm, yeah. It's a thought.

But they were in two different houses. Aren't the Prefect badges the same colour as their houses? Wait. I think that's just part of my imagination. All of them could have been silver or something. Yeah... Though that must leave us to wonder where the Prefect badge is now... It could be Ron's! *Auidence Gasp*
