No, the Head Boy badge, not a regular Prefect one.

Oh [censored]-berries.[/b]
How could I get this so wrong?! WHY GOD?! My bloody eyes are failing these days...
Yeah, well, anyway. If the Head Boy badge was indeed a Horclump, then I'm a little surprised it didn't make Percy go all crazy. You know, spreading his arms in a eagle-like manner and yelling, "BEAM ME ABOARD, SCOTTY!!", that sort of thing.
...Then again, it might explain his behaviour in the later books. The Horclump slowly started to affect his brain. ...Na, I'm looking too much into this now.

That might explain why the Weasleys hate Percy so much. Maybe they can sense his evil.

@ Samface: You LIE. That might explain why the Weasleys hate Percy so much. Maybe they can sense his evil. Actually, when I think about my theory, it doesn't seem a too bad one. That is a good point, and so is the idea of Percy's way of thinking being altered. You may just think it's his usual snobbish behaviour but something sinister being behind the reason why he chose superiors over family is a quite good concept.

It was actually Gary Oldman's birthday yesterday on a completely unrelated note.
Does he have any opportunity to say 'AzzkaahBaan' again in Order of the Pheonix? If so I'll book tickets now.

And to create a dash of discussion, I was flicking around MuggleNet when I came across an interesting theory regarding Horcruxes. Voldemort's soul's in 7 parts, right? And there are 7 books, right? It fits, right? Each Horcrux being introduced in each book... Book 1: Voldemort himself (the last bit of soul in his body) Book 2: Riddle's diary (confirmed) Book 3: Book 4: Nagini the snake (unconfirmed, theory of Dumbledore's) Book 5: the heavy unopenable locket found at Grimmauld Place (unconfirmed, popular rumour - the fake Horcrux at the end of HPB was a locket, which would fit if R.A.B. actually is Sirius' brother Regulus) Book 6: the ring Dumbledore destroyed Book 7: Whatcha think? I like that theory. As for the Horcrux for the 3rd book. I think that perhaps maybe that Silver Hand that Voldie gave to Peter Pettigrew in Book 4 may be a Horcrux. Or at least, important, in say killing a certain werewolf...

Or at least, important, in say killing a certain werewolf... Ooh, good idea! Rowling's debunked the idea of it being used to kill Lupin, though. But I like the possibility of Horcruxity.

Oh, so many possiblities. The ones that'd make the most sense to me would be: Harry Voldemort Snape Wormtail And that's it... You do the math of why I think it's possible for, out of those four, two of them would die. It's gone. We were trying to raise interest when it got deleted. Was it Chovi? I forget. No. It was just one of those random hackers that lurk around Proboards Support, choosing any forum and deciding to hack in and delete it. I didn't think the staff could do much about it at first, and I'm not sure now either. I haven't been there in a looong time.

JKR's hinted that she might kill Harry off. Of course, seeing as how the deaths have progressed, with a more significant character dying each time - first some schmuck from Hufflepuff, then Sirius Black and now Dumbledore - it's either going to be him or one of his mates. And it better not be Hermione, I love that girl. I'm not being funny, but to be honest I've thought for a long time that it's going to end with Harry fighting Voldemort and killing him, BUT with him getting mortally wounded, like stabbed in the shoulder or something, in the process, and dying (knowing JKR, in Ginny Weasley's arms or something).

i have to agree there, i've always been thinknig that in the end harry will kill voldemort but it will kill him as well...the possibilites are:
powerful spell that drains him of his life energy...or something thinks he has killed voldemort, voldemort then weakly blasts him killing him THEN properly dies
and ya get the idea, but who knows what she'll plan, the two people to die in the book...i presume voldemort doesn't count due to he's the main villain and no matter what will die one way or the other, so my guesses are
Snape Bellatrix
only due to harry's utter dislike for them and the vengeance he wants to do
