I just rented Resi 4. It is the BEST game I have ever played. Awesome. Amazing. Before I played this game I hated Resident Evil to hell. Now I love it. Awesome. Incredible. Sweet. It may not be as scary as the other ones, but it's 100000000 times better. Unbelievable. *slaps self* Phew! I lost control...

THE TOPIC, SHE LIVE! Mainly because I finally found the time to beat the game last night. ;D Spoilers, I s'pose. It's very very good. Except that Chapter 5 frequently wound me up by dint of the set-pieces being too long and irritating. I'm specifically thinking of the bit where the guy Mike is in the helicopter providing covering fire - very cool, but lasts way too long. Also, easiest final boss EVER. I was really disappointed, especially after the nightmare that was Krauser. Still, the jetski bit was cool. I was also let down by a severe lack of Wesker-based goodness and the fact that once again it told you stuff all about Ada, but then I played Assignment Ada and it was all better. Whoever heard of a game where half the plot is given away in a bonus minigame? Brilliant. Mercenaries is really really really really annoying. But I still can't stop playing it. I've unlocked Ada and Hunk but I keep dying AT THE VERY LAST SECOND. I actually died as Hunk on the castle level with .37 of a second to go, thanks to those freakin' crossbow spawns of Satan. Now I've just gotta go back and play it more. More. More. MORE!

Oh, I liked the helicopter scene, thought it was really exciting and stuff. The fight with Krauser was excellent - you can beat him easily using just the knife! and yeah...Saddler was easy as pie. And how totally awesome are the Regenerators! I couldn't beat Assignment Ada. Got stuck on Krauser.

I couldn't beat Assignment Ada. Got stuck on Krauser. Meh, just unload everything you've got left. He's the last enemy you face in the game. There's some grenades and stuff in barrels halfway down the runway. And the Regenerators are indeed awesome. That bit right near the end where you're going down the abandoned prison and you can hear one breathing and you know it's going to be in one of the cells but you can't tell which one is brilliant. Best enemy for sheer pant-filling is Baghead though - but the blind prisoners come close.

Thanks to your encouragement Samface, I was able to tear myself away from Devil May Cry 3 long enough to replay Assignment Ada and beat that troublesome Krauser. I threw an awful lot of grenades at the bugger. OMG Wesker! You realise what's gonna happen next is Umbrella's gonna use their samples of La Plaga that Ada stole, use them to inject the T-Virus into and create a whole new dangerous organism! And we shall call it Resident Evil 5.

See, you're glad you bothered now. Incidentally, I had a dream I was Leon last night. Except Krauser was on my side, and he was berating me for not paying attention to whatever it was I was doing. What that actually was, I can't remember...

I once had a really vivid dream that I was playing a decent Sonic Adventure game. Man, that was wild. And unorthodox because I usually dream about naked...uh...

Well, well, well... Capcom have just (lets see if I get this right...) Unofficially officially announced Resident Evil 5. From the sounds of it they are using the Resident Evil 4 formula and are hoping to expand on it. But thats all we know for sure because.... They want the fans to decide what else goes in! At Capcoms site/forums they are asking people to tell them what they liked about previous titles and what was missing that they want and all these suggestions will be looked at and will be used when it comes to making the 5th Resident Evil game! www.gamesmainframe.com/?view=article&article=477So what would you want? Zombies? humans? aliens? monsters? Raccon city? spooky island? wierd village? T virus? G Virus? T-veronica Virus? Mind control? You decide.

If we get everybody to vote on a lesbian sex scene between Jill and Ada, do you think it'll make it in? I'm hoping for a quick-select weapons system, but apart from that I'm not sure what could possibly be added to make the series more perfect than it is.

WIN Except the forum is kinda hard to get around and I can't be bothered. Anyway, what I've been hoping for since completing Code Veronica is a massive game starring EVERYONE. I originally wanted it to be the final game in the series and to detail the fall of Umbrella, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen now, does it? Oh, and one thing that annoyed me about RE4 was that you couldn't reload on the inventory screen. Grrrr.

Well it seems this is the month of announcements when it comes to resident evil doesnt it. Not only is RE5 confrimed (sorta) but according to this news story theres another Resident evil film in the works... and another has been planned after that... yup 2 new resident evil films are on the way! www.gamespot.com/news/2005/06/13/news_6127452.htmlnot sure if this is a good thing or not. According to the news item. Resident Evil 3: Afterlife is set after the events of RE-2 (film one) and is about Alice... again... wandering the desert and fighting the undead. it has no director as of yet but the writer of it has written Mortal Kombat and Alien vs. Predator. However the fourth film is said to be set in Tokyo and will be shot in Japan... So far im not too convinced these films will do very well.

I really wanna see Apocalypse! It has Nemesis in it, which is good. GOOD. The problem is, they screwed up the first film, so they'll never be able to correct the sequels.

You bet your ass it's worth it. I've never been so happy to own a Gamecube. The one thing that scared me absolutly S**tless were those Regenerators. I remember when I was fighting them by Ammo was nearly depleted and that guy with the cloak who sells you weapons was nowhere in sight. Plus when I was in that corridor and heard it breathing, but couldn't see it, I was absolutly cacking myself. then I turn around and there it is suddenly about 3 metres away. I fell outta my damn seat (no joke). The non-zombies (that's wht I call them) were a nice refreshing change from the T-virus infected zombies. These buggers are fast, strong, can call out for help and can throw things at you. The chainsaw wielding maniacs freaked me out. I remember there was a stage that I repeated about 8 times cause at one point 2 of the buggers come at you and there more or less on top of you. One hit and your dead cause they immediatly saw off you head. Oh and Ada Wong. I never thought she would be that sexy. lol

Spoiler Question. Just wondering is Wesker in the game at all because I finished it and he isn't in the main game but he's in the mini-game you unlock, but is he in the ada mission?

Um, no...the PS2 version is out at the end of the year, and it has several completely new Ada missions (as well as Assignment Ada from the Cube version.) Those figures rock! I hope there's a Regenerator one.
