Pft, it's a well known fact that Lisa Trevor is, always has been and always will be the most scary thing ever featured in any video game. Ever. Don't any of you try to tell me you can listen to those chains and that whaling without soiling yourself. She's scarier than Nemesis, she's scarier than everyone on Doom, she's scarier than Regenerators, she's scarier than The Clangers, she's scarier than Freddy Krueger. She is the scariest thing of all time. Ever.

It's odd, I didn't find the Regenerators scary at all. I admit they were freaky, but the fact I always knew where they were and the ease of killing them meant that they were a threat but never a cause for panic. The only Regenerator that scared me a bit was the one you meet just before the bulldozer part, mainly because I had ran out of rifle ammo and had to make a mad dash around it, their stretchy arms are very annoying.
The badguy that freaked me out more was Dr. Sa-something, you know, the chainsaw bag-headed guy. Factors like his attack being one-hit kill and his almost unlimited health meant that I had a heart attack every time I heard his chainsaw.
She is the scariest thing of all time. Ever.
Sorry kiddo, but that award belongs to Pyramid Head and no other.

What about the time when you jump into that part of mini fort and suddenly 2 chainsaw weilding maniacs jump out at you and kill you instantl if you don't dodge your sweet ass out of the way.
I nearly [censored] myself.

Hmmm, I don't really find Resi all that scary anymore. When you've played the game so many times, it seems to go from terrifying to just unnerving. Here is a list of things that actually scare me in Resident Evil.
Resident Evil Hunters just jumping out at you. Chimeras. The boulder bits in the catacombs.
There have been other things in the game that scared me, but I've played it too often to be scared by them anymore (e.g. dogs crashing through the windows)
Resident Evil 2 The zombie arms smashing through the windows in the police station. Birkin's transformation cut-scene. That Licker smashing through the skylight.
Resident Evil 3 The intro. Nemesis chasing you in the police station with a rocket launcher. Being attacked by Hunters in the elevator.
Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X Nothing in particular.
Resident Evil Zero The intro. The first leech-man. Eliminators. I hate those damn monkeys! The music in the training facility hall.
Resident Evil 4 The insane laughter of some of those zealots. Regenerators. Iron Maidens. That moving sack in the dumpster. Those chainsaw sisters the first time you see them. The guy who bursts out of that oven in flames screaming. The dark passageway full of those armours.

What the hell have I been doing wrong, then? And the Leather-face lookalike is called Dr. Salvador.

Dr. Salvador's only scary when he's right up close to you. Now those GIANT Salvadors on the waterworld level in Mercanaries, THEY are scary! When you hear that chainsaw revving, you just drop one in your pants right then and there. I cannot stand them! Why do they have to be so freakin' hard to kill? Its the same with the armoured Garradors in the castle stage.

Has anybody else gotten into a situation on the waterworld level where you open a door and the double-chansaw Salvador is standing right in front of you with his back to you? It's happened to me on several occasions and it always scares the [censored] outta me. I usually kind of turn around slowly and walk carefully away. It's kinda hilarious, actually. ;D

I think it's brilliant. It's such an "Oh...pardon me!" moment. I LOL in your general direction. "Occupied!" *decapitates Itchy//Tasty* Has anyone read the Resident Evil novels by S.D. Perry? I think the creatures we see in Caliban Cove and Underworld should be in the next game. I'd like to see that Fossil creature, that'd be cool!

I usually use Krauser/Wesker to do the waterworld stage, as Ada/Hunk/Leon are just to weak. It's cool to fire Krausers arrows though. It's usually a straight decapitation as it is with head level. I pulled off Krausers special arm-mutation move in front of Super Savador. LOL!

Dr. Salvador's only scary when he's right up close to you. I concur. During the mine kart bit of the cave complex, I pracitcally ruined my pants when Salvador dropped down right infront of me (along with about half a dozen villagers). I killed him, only for another him to drop down again (with yet more villagers). Sadistic game designers.

I agree with Sin on the subject of Regenerators being easy. And some of the things you people mention make me think that you're playing in easy mode? What's wrong with you? On normal, there is 3 chainsaw women in the fort place. In professional, I used my initiative and went down El Gigante's route. So much easier than those chainsaw women.
And the giant Salvador with the twin chainsaws? I hated him when I first saw him. The shotgun didn't even do anything at all! I found unlocking people really hard in mercenaries, untill I discovered who's best in each stage. With Leon, do the one with the dude with the chaingun, since he's easiest to kill. When you unlock Hunk, use him on the village, and avoid the chainsaw hoes when you can, use Ada for the castle then once you have Krauser, you're sorted. I went on the waterworld with Krauser and got 5 stars, because there is only 2 Salvadors on the level, and 1 special arm attack thing kills them straight away. You get a load of points and a first aid spray. I never thought Wesker was that great in Mercenaries.
And by the way, although it hasn't been released in Japan yet, RESIDENT EVIL DEADLY SILENCE IS ON SALE IN MY TOWN! I think they're doing it because they are desperate to draw customers away from Game, since Games Exchange has been suffering from losses vere since Game moved in on its turf, hence killing its monoply. Now, it's £35, and I am supposed to be saving money, but should I buy it just for the novelty?

Just how many versions of RE1 are they gonna make? I mean there's 3 now for gods sake! Enough is enough!
Bring on a RE2 or RE3 remake!!!

Yeah, a re-make of Resident Evil 3 on the PSP would be class. A portable fight against the nemesis would rock. S.T.A.R.S................ By the way, did you guys think much of the Resident Evil movies? The first one was okay, but the second one really diminished the coolness of Nemesis, didn't it? It'ssupposed to be a killing machine, Not decide to save Jill from death, that's not what happens in the bloody game!

PAUL ANDERSON MUST REFRAIN FROM DESTROYING ANY MORE GAMING FRANCHISES WITH HIS CRAPPY FILMS!!!!!!
