...Even I don't understand that one, I'm afraid.
I don't have Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed because the bloody [censored]s haven't released it for Steam yet. When it is released for Steam, I will buy it because it looks ace.

So yeah. I ended up buying Fighting Vipers and Sonic the Fighters on the XBLAs.
I now really, really, really want a Fighting Vipers reboot.
Also THQ Humble Bundle. Because THQ is a charity now. Played a bit of Saints Row 3. And as my first Saints Row, its ok. I mean its quite cool. I did hear that Saints Row 2 is better but that wasn't in the bundle.

So it turns out the Wii U is really good.
Surprisingly enjoying Sonic's Boatplanecar racing.

It handles really well surprisingly. Haven't had to faff around with Wiimotes as you can do everything from the WiiU controller! Controller is super comfortable to hold and works as well as you'd expect a controller to work. The touchscreen is nicely responsive and when playing games just on that screen I can't seem to go out of range anywhere in my flat. Haven't done a proper test but I can be 2 rooms away from the games room and it still works flawlessly despite all the walls etc.
It's just a really nice gadget. YouTube etc works well so it's a decent media device and the speakers on the gamepad are better than the speakers on my TV. Can't wait for some more must-buy games to come out. I'm actually seriously considering Assassin's Creed 3/Arkham City for the WiiU over and above the PS360.
Sorry if that seemed rambling but I cannot stress enough how shocked I am that it was actually good!

You didn't really. Its pretty much Pepsi Vs Coke between those two. Its just that I prefer the 360. So everything multiformat I get is on 360. And maybe PC during one of Crazy GabeN's sales.

Pepsi and Coke taste completely different, and anyone who says otherwise is developmentally disabled.

Sorry if that seemed rambling but I cannot stress enough how shocked I am that it was actually good! After seeing how it looked, I had my doubt the controller was actually going to work, but after hearing a lot of praise for this system, I feel like getting one. But I won't, not right now. I'm going to wait and make sure this won't be a failure like the 3DS. I know the 3DS is a good system, that it has a load of great games and and so on, I'm referring to the treatment it got in my nation. Delegated to the back of the of the store, close to zero ads for it anywhere and the games are largely ignored. We got four new games in just six months here, two Mario games, Sonic racing and a Pokemon game I fear may just have been delayed. So for now, I'll just sit back and see what kind of treatment they give the Wii U.

I remember having the original James Pond 2 and 3 discs for the Amiga - that clip was on one of them I'm sure but I had managed to completely forget about it. Thanks for stirring up those repressed memories Moo!

I just had JP3 on the Mega Drive, so had no idea such animations existed, hence I'm so scared and confused. ;__;
I expected Finius to sound a lot more manly too.

Remember Namco X Capcom? And specifically how it never saw the light of day outside of Japan? Well, back in October Japan saw a successor to that title in "Project X Zone", a tactical RPG featuring a multi mash-up of characters from various franchises of Namco Bandai, Capcom and SEGA. This title also looked very much like it was staying exclusive to Japan. Until now.There might just be a reason for me to save for a 3DS yet.
