- As per your own maths, seeing as there are 40 games, it's not a rip-off. Get it? £1 a game, 40+ games. Even less if it's a budget-price release. Which wouldn't surprise me.

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted CastleDecap Attack starring Chuck D. HeadDr. Robotnik's MBMGolden Axe I Kid ChameleonShinobi III: Return of the Ninja MasterSonic 3D BlastSonic and KnucklesSonic SpinballSonic the HedgehogSonic the Hedgehog 2Sonic the Hedgehog 3Streets of Rage Streets of Rage 2Streets of Rage 3 There be the list of reasons I'll be buying this! Brilliant stuff! Me and my sis used to love playing Golden Axe and SoR on two-player! ;D So much fun! Alex Kidd was simple, yet awesome! Although I didn't like how easily he died. I used to be a big Ecco fan as well but I found some of the levels on Tides of Time way too hard, and couldn't complete the game without using at least one cheatcode or password... only to get the message "Now try playing without cheating" at the end! ;D I still got to see the scrolling, bad Star Wars-esque blurb, though!

Thing is, Id be a lot more content if these had the appropriate Mega CD music. Cant have everything I guess. I look forward to Ecco on a HD tv however. It'll be superb.

Really, if I get this or not it will be on the strength of the extras and included features like possible online play. The game list is good, but between Mega Collection and that Sega game collection for the PSP I have most of the ones I want.

I've not heard the term "mince" before...I assume it means bad.
Then again, I assume that, but then I get to thinking about mince pies, and they're lovely. Pies with proper meat in them, they're good too, and finally...I couldn't think of a third.

Old school games on a new gen console.... £40 for games that cost £1 in a charity shop. Wow. Sega know mugs when they see them. Reasons why collections are useful. - Finding all these old games in working order will be difficult. - As per your own maths, seeing as there are 40 games, it's not a rip-off. Get it? £1 a game, 40+ games. £40. Plus extras. - All the games in one place. - Save features, so Kid Chameleon is actually possible to beat. - You try finding a copy of Phantasy Star IV, Headdy or Ristar for £1. - Some people never owned a Mega Drive, as you acknowledged. - Bonus features. Point taken on save and bonus features, and I was talking as someone who has his MD still plugged up since the day it was bought for him, so there is no need for me to buy it as I still have most of my Sega games. And the ones I don't have I'm sure I can get pretty cheap or if not I can buy one of the other many Sega Collections there are. But yeah, I concede it's not the waste of money I made it out to be.

Yeah, they shoulda stuck Blaze on the front. I mean SoR Blaze. That would boost sales.
Great cover, though!

That's incredible.
A game cover that manages to be 90's without being homoerotic!

You'd only get about £1 for them. So... There's really not much point. >>

I take it this will still be called "Ultimate Mega Drive Collections" in Europe, rather than "Genesis"?

What bonus features? I also cant really see any tactics on SoR going any further than "[censored], press A" Yeah or "Player 2 let go of Blaze & stop trying to hump her!" ;D What 90's sega game covers were homo-erotic? Besides golden axe.

Besides golden axe. Almost all of them. The ones that don't look homoerotic just look gay.
