Yeah, people have been griping about this for days. Justified, though. She looks dumb. It's kinda funny, actually. Sure, making Bane look less than completely [censored]ing ridiculous is something of a challenge, but adapting modern Catwoman into the Nolan movies is simplicity itself. Seriously, it's not that hard to make her fit in, but the multi-million dollar production gives us...this. Anne Hathaway in Spy Kids gear. It's not even a functional disguise. And just in case you were building up hope for something better later on: Catwoman is just going to use a domino mask.

The more I see of this movie, the more it looks like it will be a huge disappointment after the last two.

Personally I'm more intent to await the details on the actual story and shots of it. The thing she's wearing on the cycle more than likely seems to be a sort of gadget, maybe for a couple scenes.
But really, call it optimism in that Nolan has never once let me down yet, but I am willing to give this movie the benefit of the doubt until I do see it.
If the costumes just look daft during it, well, then that'll be a fault. It's concerning, but I'm not going to judge the whole thing.
That Catwoman fan design is freaking awesome though.

The current issue of Empire has an on-set report, with a couple of interesting titbits.
First off, Bane's daft mask actually has a purpose: apparently he's suffered some sort of crippling injury, and the mask keeps him supplied with pain-relieving gas. I'm going to guess that the injury was to his jaw, so the mask serves the additional function of keeping his face together.
Secondly, this film is set a whopping eight years after The Dark Knight, which is...intriguing.

Wow, that's quite a gap. So one has to wonder what the hell has gone on in Gotham during that time? I hope there'll be some prequel material, like some animated shorts or a comic book mini-series or something.

I can't wait to see what they're doing with it. I also noticed Tom Hardy looks like a tank, more so than when he played Charles Bronson.

end end end
Incidentally, I've been considering the fact that half the new actors are people Nolan hired for Inception, and I'm calling it now - this will turn out to be Inception 2. It'll end with Michael Caine waking up and saying "I've had a terrible dream!"
Then he'll chuck Kermit the Frog off a car-park or something

Re-excited now. Apart from Michael Caine being [censored]ing [censored] as usual at the beginning there. I wish he'd die.

I heard Batman was in this but, from the trailer, I'm not entirely sure.

Michael Caine is a magnificent Cockney [censored]. ;D He was in there, if briefly. I'm sure there'll be another trailer yet before the film's release. Good to see some more of Bane, though he's still not as pumped as we'd all like to see. Also... HOLY [censored]-BRICKS, BATMAN! Is that a flying Batmobile!? I know he currently has one in the comics, but still, with the realistic direction that these films have been going in... still rather wow. :3

Bump! Spoilers too.. but it's been out going on 2 months now though so you should have seen it by now! I absolutely loved TDKR. It was really good, loved the Bane vs Batman fight I was thinking all the way through "Break his back, break his back!" and he did... kinda. Bane's voice kinda freaked me out, he sounded very posh. I thought it was something that would change as the film went on but you get used to it! Who didn't guess that the woman would turn out to be Talia Al Ghul? I knew that from the second she came on the screen! In regards to the ending and the future of the Batman franchise... PLEASE don't reboot it! We're making progress.. do Batman Beyond, or a Nightwing film, but please dear god don't reboot it again otherwise the DC Universe films will never get anywhere!

"...so that's what that feels like." Best line in the film.
Worst film of the trilogy, IMO, although a nice twist at the end.
