Since this thread seems to have re-emerged at the top of the page, I'm gonna go ahead and say something wild but true and impossible to disagree with.
It doesn't deserve to be and it should have been cap and it should have been condemned to Hell for its [censored]ness, but Chinese Democracy is one of the best albums ever.
THERE I SAID IT.

I've got up to track 6 on disc 1 of the live album of XX, and I'm loving it. Best buy of music I've bought in a long time. ^_^

Im on track 10 on disc 1 of my live album of Guilty Gear XX, and still I'm loving it. The composing is excellent, and I enjoy rocking out to it every time I put this CD on.

I really shouldn't listen to Sonic Youth before I leave for work, it makes it so much harder to go.

I'm on disc 2 of my Guilty Gear XX CD now. The second disc is even more awesome than the first disc. ;D

Let me add this: Franz Ferdinand's new CD is amazingly fun and catchy. I didn't want to say it, but it's true.

I saw Ida 'Banana Splits' Maria last night. She was good, albeit very very drunk. Apparently Norwegians are made of sarcasm and eat it for breakfast. Pshaw, as if I didn't know of them. I legally own Strawberry Jam. I heartily approve of this comment. The Animal Collective make me very happy. Also, Melys. And Fight Like Apes.

The Space Invaders Extreme Audio Cluster DS soundtrack CD is out on 19th March, on Otaku. This looks like another gaming music compilation I'll buy.

Seriously?I've been listening to the Blues Brothers 2000 soundtrack quite a bit recently. While the film's not that much cop compared to the first, the music still makes me feel damn good.

I bought the Avenue Q soundtrack yesterday.
Very catchy stuff, if anyone hasn't heard it.

I have been listening to the Sonic Rush Original Groove Rush soundtrack through Galbadia Hotel all weekend. All the tracks are brilliant composed by Hideki Naganuma, and it always puts me in a good mood.

Recently I was asked who the American act stylistically closest to the Beatles were. I was going to say it's Chicago or the Beach Boys - which would be more accurate?

The Beach Boys, I'd say. Chicago didn't experiment as much.
My brother brought round an external harddrive with every Now That's What I Call Music compilation up to 72. That's a lot of pop. I think I've got to number 5.

I believe Now That's What I call Music 48 was the first CD that I ever got. It was all that mid- to late-nineties pop stuff (the type of thing I'm more inclined to dislike nowadays).
How about nineties music? I think it started off well enough, but after that it was less enjoyable. Of course, the nineties music I do enjoy isn't anything I would have listened to in the nineties.

I'm going to see Regina Spektor tomorrow. I think my first album was by Boyzone.

I don't know if I like '90s music or it's just nostalgia.
Ah nostalgia, how long's that been around?
