Hmmm, Tonks....
I can't imagine Kreacher sounding like anyone other than Gollum.

Gollum's voice would be way off for Kreacher. He's more of an old man type thing, wheezing and reading BNP newsletters.

JK Rowling's on Friday Night with Jonathon Ross tonight (10.35) - I imagine the interview will be largely Deathly Hallows based, but I'll bet they show at least one film clip.

I caught a brief glimpse of an interview with her the other night on a station here - basically her saying that "many people aren't going to be as shocked as they think", and that the younger readers have no reason to worry. I'm presuming this refers to who's getting "bumped off", and whatnot.
Still, I absolutely can't wait for this. Nearly eight years on from my first read of Philosopher's, and now there's only two weeks remaining to the grand finale! I'll hopefully be catching the new film with some friends next weekend as well.

That would be neat, but still not enough to make me watch anything with her in it.

I saw it last night. I give it 7/10.
Wanted to see it for a while, but it didn't really go anywhere storywise.. nothing happened. There seemed very very little character development with Malfoy, and his father. In fact his father had more screen time than him!
Good film, fans of the others will like it, but some may be disappointed.

Just saw OoTP, very good, on par with the previous film. I think I have a crush on Luna.

I saw it today. Only one film can possibly beat it. Transformers.

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was pretty good, probably the best so far. I know they cut a heck of a lot out from the book, but then I guess they had to, with Order of the Phoenix being the longest of them. Didnt the statues in the ministry play some part in the climax of the book, it was a long time ago that I read it, but I vaguely remember something about them, if so, then they missed that bit out.

Caught OOTP earlier and was very impressed. Granted, there were a few key scenes missing once again (Harry smashing up Dumbledore's office, for one), and a few changes here and there, but to be quite honest, I think the film was better off for it. And at 2 hours and 40 minutes, it was just the right length for a Potter film. I'm glad they finally cleared up some points skimmed over in previous films as well; most notably why Snape feels such contempt for Harry, even if it was just in passing. The constant fluctuation between the feel-good moments, and the "darker" scenes was handled brilliantly as well.
Strong performances all-round, also. Given his lack of experience, I reckon Daniel Radcliffe is doing an excellent job with Harry's character, and Umbridge was nothing short of magnificent, surpassing even Voldemort in the sheer "awfulness" stakes. Beyond that, everyone else made the most of the small amounts they were given, particularly Alan Rickman, who I'm looking forward to seeing finally take centre stage in the next installment.
Definitely the strongest Potter film thus far, and I'm not just saying that, either. It's the way they ought to have been handled from the very beginning.

Yeah, in the book a few of them were destroyed while Dumbledore bewitched the wizard statue to protect Harry while he fought Voldemort. Then the head was turned into a Portkey so Harry could return to Hogwarts.

Yeah, thought so. I'm not surprised so much was left out though, it is the longest book in the series.

NO BOOK SEVEN SPOILERS HERE PLZJust to be sure. Anyway, I saw the film last week and it was good, but not the best one (Goblet's still top film for me). I'd say the girl playing Luna is an incredibly good actor and got the character down pat, but I saw an interview with her and she's actually like that in real life. And yes, Pom, Tonks is damn hot.

Saw the film last night. Best Potter film so far. I was expecting it to be like the last two films in which it would feel really rushed, but I was pleasantly surprised for it to have the same pacing as Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. But with Azkaban and Goblet's far superior acting on top of that, it turned out to be really enjoyable.
So I say yay to David Yates, and am really looking forward to Half-Blood Prince.

Since this is spoilerless for book seven, I just want to say that I got it this afternoon, started reading at about 4 O'clock and haven't stopped since. 200 pages in so far and <3ing it. It's a bit odd to have the format so shaken up after 6 books of the standard "Harry gets a raw deal with the Dursley's, goes to Hogwarts, saves everyone and goes home for more Dursley annoyances", but aside from about 3 chapters farting around about the wedding, it's awesome so far.
Kinda wish that I'd attacked the previous books again beforehand though. Order and Halfblood Prince at least anyways... but oh well - if my memory goes spazzy, Wikipedia is thankfully there to help, and mostly spoiler-free/avoidable at the moment.

Yeah, I noticed that the format's different, although the ending of half-blood prince prepared me for that anyway. I got it at about 5pm, and I've read 70 pages, although I havent read any for about 3 hours because the internet distracted me. But yeah, seems good so far.

Someone just told me the end of the new book and it's laughable, it really is. Troll. Not trying to spark an argument but from what I heaerd she could be lying cos I said "I read the ending, Harry gets raped by a jackolantern then gets brutally murdered with a stick" but what she said was. . .well I won't finish due to spoilers but I don't want any arguments if you think I do.
